EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a significant development heralding a new era for youth leadership, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Epe Division has witnessed a transition of power, signifying the dawn of a promising chapter.
The Eredo LCDA was the venue for this historic moment, where the youth community elected a new executive to steer the course of affairs towards a brighter future for the young populace.

The newly elected and inaugurated executive, under the able leadership of Comrade Adekunle Olusegun Abiodun, marks a pivotal shift in the landscape of youth representation within the locality.
Expressing joy and felicitations, Amb. SMASE Provost Ibraheem Ogunbanwo extended heartfelt congratulations to the incoming NYCN Eredo LCDA executive. He particularly lauded the seamless transition facilitated by the outgoing Coordinator Emeritus, Ambassador Don Salami Ibrahim, emphasizing the historical significance of the event.
In a statement which was titled ‘NYCN EREDO TRANSITION, THE BEGINNING OF A NEW DAWN’ the ambassador stated:
“It’s my pleasure to Congratulate the entire Youth constituents of Eredo LCDA for the beginning of a new dawn as new NYCN executive of the branch come on board.
Eredo LCDA witness a historic moment as the Youth of Eredo chose new executive to pilot their affairs for an assured future of the young people within the locale.
“With heart filled with joy i Congratulate and Felicitate with NYCN Eredo LCDA newly elected and inaugurated executive ably led by Comrade Adekunle Olusegun Abiodun.
“A big congratulation to the Coordinator emeritus Ambassador Don Salami Ibrahim for a smooth transition. Your greatest joy is that you have Successor as you had become a Predecessor. This is historical and highly commendable.
It is believed that this administration filled with energetic young persons will mark the rebirth and repositioning NYCN Eredo LCDA Branch to be able to positively impact the youth and serve as the hope for the younger generation.
“I want to sincerely appreciate the immediate Past coordinator and his exco for deeming is necessary to pass the baton to the next team so that the Youth of Eredo will not be left out in the affairs that concerns Youth in Lagos State and beyond.
“With utmost humility and honor, i specially appreciate the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Honorable Monsurudeen Akinloye for his support that led to the success of the transition process. We greatly believe that all your promises made will come to past.
I equally applaud the effort of Amb. Lekan Biliaminu Oba Chairman NYCN Lagos State Chapter and his entire team for the job well done.
I am also using this medium to extend gratitude to the CPC, ELECO, the delegates, the management members, and all the critical Stakeholders for making the electoral processes a success.

“To the newly inaugurated executive members, i will appeal to you to always support your coordinator and ensure that your commitment to the Youth Council is a priority, never place your personal interest ahead of the common and general interest of the Council, do not allow yourself to be used to distrust the peace of the Council and remember that Youth Council is not a profit making organization but a leadership training ground for the young people. Therefore, work together as a team and see yourself as one united family.
