NYSC Finally Begins Payment Of N33,000 Allowance

The National Youth Service Corps has officially began payment of the N33,000 allowance, popularly called “alawee” for corps members.

Corps members who have received the payment have been posting screenshots of their credit alerts on social media, confirming the development.

Federal Government had increased the allowance from N19,800 to N33,000 in accordance to the increment of the minimum wage for civil servants.
