Roman Reigns kicked off WWE SmackDown with Paul Heyman and wasn’t too happy that The Usos had decided to go ahead with the Tag Team Title match last night , EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
(1) Reigns and Heyman agreed that Jimmy and Jey better win last night, or they would face Roman’s wrath.
Roman said that he calls his own shots but he gets the job done, and so should they, before walking out of the ring.
(2) Seth Rollins was on SmackDown and was being interviewed by Kayla Braxton when he said that he didn’t owe anyone anything. Braxton asked what he would do once Cesaro returned and Rollins took off his mic and tossed it at her.
(3) Chad Gable was backstage on SmackDown and told The Street Profits that they needed new management, namely, him. The Profits gave them a ‘hard no’ before walking off.
(4) The Usos came into the office to see Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce, telling them to set up a title rematch with the Mysterios. Sonya assured them that they will take the circumstances in consideration and make the right call.

Owens decided to go for the match regardless of his condition and Apollo knocked him down right off the bell. Crews unloaded on Owens as the match went on and bounced him off the turnbuckles before KO came back with a senton.
Back after a break on SmackDown, Owens hit a German Suplex before going for a Swanton Bomb from the top rope but Apollo got his knees up. The IC Champ got a standing Moonsault and a suplex but KO kicked out twice. Owens got some superkicks and a pop-up powerbomb for a near fall of his own.
Owens was on the top rope and took a Death Valley driver on the apron before Apollo finally pinned him and picked up the win on SmackDown.
Result: Apollo Crews def. Kevin Owens to retain the Intercontinental Championship
