Known to have been critical of the politics of former President Olusegun Obasanjo in recent times, Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, took it to a new level today in Lagos.
Speaking at the public presentation of a book by Olusegun Osoba, former governor of Ogun State and a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, the first class monarch said Obasanjo remains the biggest problem of Nigeria.
At the event held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Akiolu referenced a section of the memoir where Osoba claimed that Obasanjo deceived governors on the platform of Alliance for Democracy (AD) and socio-cultural group, Afenifere, he said: “The problem we are having in this country is this and I will continue to say it that the number one problem of Nigeria is Obasanjo.”
