Obanikoro, Bawa-Allah Laud Isale-Eko Descendants Union Job Data Base Launch

Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, former Minister of State for Defence, has praised the leadership of the Isale-Eko Descendants Union (IDU) for launching the Job Database initiative.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the initiative aims to connect Isale-Eko indigenes with employment opportunities across Lagos State, addressing the pressing issue of unemployment within the community.

Obanikoro, who attended the Union’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Isale-Eko House on Iga Idungaran Street, expressed appreciation for the community’s achievements and the involvement of the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment in supporting the initiative.

He commended the efforts of the Union’s Chairman, Adeniji Kazeem (SAN), acknowledging his leadership and progress in driving the Job Database initiative forward.

Obanikoro described Kazeem’s efforts as meritorious, recognizing the impact the initiative will have on the lives of Isale-Eko indigenes.

“We are happy that the Chairman is steering the ship very well. As a proud Isale-Eko son, I can say this progress is worth celebrating.

We’re also delighted that our sister, the Honorable Minister, is here with us to identify with and support the growth of our community.” He said

Senator Musiliu Obanikoro also commended the presence of Dr. Jumoke Odewole, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, at the event, emphasizing the significance of her involvement in promoting business and development within the Isale-Eko community.

Obanikoro expressed his confidence that her active engagement would lead to tangible benefits for the community, acknowledging the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in fostering economic growth.

Hon. AbdulWasiu Kayode Bawa-Allah, the Commissioner representing Lagos State at the Federal Character Commission further highlighted the potential impact of the Isale-Eko Descendants Union (IDU) Job Database launch, emphasizing that it would create new avenues for Isale-Eko indigenes to explore opportunities both locally and internationally.

 

The initiative will provide individuals with the means to leverage available opportunities, ultimately empowering them to achieve their professional aspirations and enhance their economic well-being.
