Hon. Fatai Mojeed, born on February 20, 1973, represents the Ibeju Lekki Constituency I. He attended R.C.M. Primary School in Bogije, Ibeju-Lekki, and Iwerekun Community High School in Lakowe, Ibeju-Lekki.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that Mojeed later obtained his Higher National Diploma in Accounting from Kwara State Polytechnic in Ilorin, and his MBA in Finance from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in 2013.
Mojeed is a member of professional bodies such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Management Accounts of Nigeria (CIMA).
His qualifications include ICAN Professional Examination I, ICAN Foundation, Associate of Accounting Technician Scheme AAT, and Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants, Nigeria.
He entered active politics in 2000, serving as the Supervisor for Works from 2003 to 2007, and as the Secretary to the Local Government from 2008 to 2010, both in Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Igando-Oloja, Lagos State.
Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola contested in the 2011 House of Assembly election and won, securing his position in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Committee on House Services.
Following the removal of Hon. Mudashiru Obasa as the Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker over allegations of financial violations and misappropriation, the House elected Hon. Mojisola Meranda as the new Speaker and Hon. Fatai Mojeed as her Deputy.
