Obaseki Fires All Local Govt Political Appointees

The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has fired all political appointees from all the 18 Local Government Areas in the state.

It could be recalled that the Governor had earlier sacked over 300 political appointees across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.

The Governor conveyed the termination of appointment to the various political appointees in various local government in a three paragraph letter.

One of the victim, Godwin Imoudu, from Owen East confirmed the development to newsmen.

It was however gathered that the termination of appointment of political appointees was meant for Edo North Senatorial district but was latter extended to the 18 local government areas of the state.
