Furthermore, Obi eulogized the former Minister of Education, praising his unwavering dedication to the Nigerian project.

In a heartfelt tribute shared on his X account, Obi reminisced about his last journey with Gbagi, stating, “I vividly remember our last journey together from Abuja to Asaba, where we engaged in deep discussions about various issues concerning our beloved nation, Nigeria.”
Highlighting Gbagi’s commitment to education and national development, Obi wrote, “He was a dedicated Nigerian who remained steadfast in his commitment to Nigeria’s development, notably serving in the critical area of education during his tenure as Minister.”
Additionally, Obi extended condolences to Gbagi’s wife and family, saying, “My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, Mrs. Sybil Gbagi, and his family during this difficult time of loss.”
