Moyosore Onigbanjo, principal legal officer and magistrate for equity in Lagos, says the state government guaranteed that the privileges of the #OccupyLekkiTollGate dissidents were not penetrated.

“We denounce any demonstration of fierceness and dehumanization with respect to the police or anyone so far as that is concerned.

“Furthermore, if examination uncovers that any cop mishandled their position, and these realities are shipped off the DPP’s office, and the DPP says that the police officer or lady has a case to reply, fitting charges will be recorded.

“The third leg of it, even these residents who asserted that they were mistreated likewise have the choice to sue the police to court for this demonstration which they affirmed.

“It might have been not difficult to say court won’t sit till Monday, yet we didn’t do that. We decided to get a judge there through the portable court. We decided to get examiners there, and they were conceded bail and every one of them delivered.
