All roads lead to Odo Ayandelu Kingdom in Lagos State as the community prepares to celebrate the 15th coronation anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Oba (Builder) Asunmo Ganiyu Aderibigbe, Jamade I, the Paramount Ruler of the kingdom.
Ekohotblog reports that the week-long celebration, rich in tradition, gratitude, and philanthropy, will begin on Sunday, 25th May 2025, with a thanksgiving service at the Redeemed Christian Church, Odo Ayandelu, by 10:00am.

The service is expected to draw community members, religious leaders, and dignitaries who will gather to give thanks for the monarch’s 15 years of peaceful and progressive reign.
On Tuesday, 27th May, the installation of customary chiefs will take place at the palace by 10:00am. The ceremony is expected to highlight the cultural heritage of the kingdom and recognize individuals who have shown commitment to community development.
Wednesday, 28th May, will focus on humanitarian outreach. By 10:00am, the king will visit an orphanage home in Agbowa-Ikosi to offer donations and support.
Later that day, by 1:30pm, cash gifts will be distributed to widows, elderly citizens, and clergymen at the Alayandelu Palace.
“Kabiyesi has always been a man of the people,” said one High Chief “His compassion and leadership have continued to uplift this kingdom.”
The fourth day, Thursday, 29th May, will be dedicated to education. Pupils of the U.P.E Primary School, Odo Ayandelu, will receive free notebooks, and a public lecture will follow at 10:30am.
The lecture will address key social issues and the role of education in community advancement.
On Friday, 30th May, Muslim faithful will join the monarch at the Odo Ayandelu Central Mosque for a special Jumat service scheduled for 1:30pm. Prayers will be offered for the king, his household, and the entire kingdom.
The grand finale of the anniversary celebration comes up on Saturday, 31st May, with the installation of traditional chiefs at the Oba Alayandelu Palace from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The event will feature traditional rites, royal blessings, and cultural displays.
