Ogun: 19-Year-Old Boy Drugs, Rapes 52-Year-Old Landlady

After investigation has been concluded,  Rafiu Adelana, aged 19 will be charged to court.

The teenager who is currently in police net was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for drugging and raping a 52-year-old landlady popularly known as Alhaja.

Adelana confessed to the crime, saying he added sleeping tablets to a food which the landlady eventually ate.

He reportedly undressed the elderly lady after confirming that she had fallen asleep, and had sex with her thereafter.

The suspect who stays with his parents at a rented apartment at Ilesan Remo community in Ogun State, was handed over to the police after being caught in the act by the landlady’s daughter, Lafiyat Ajeigbe who returned home from school.

Responding to interrogations, the mother of the suspect, Bolanle Adelana said she takes the pills whenever she has difficulties sleeping.
