Ogun: Abiodun Nominates TASUED VC Arigbabu, Ex-NUJ President Odusile As Commissioners

  • Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has nominated Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu and Waheed Odusile

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has nominated Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu and Waheed Odusile as Commissioners.

Arigbabu will head the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, while Odusile will preside over the Ministry of Information.

Abiodun has forwarded their names to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.

His spokesman, Kunle Somorin, also announced the appointment of Fola Onifade as General Manager, State Signage and Advertising Agency; and Sesan Asenuga as GM, Parks and Garages Development Board.

Tolu Bankole was named Senior Special Assistant to the Governor and Ifekayode Akinbode will serve as Consultant on Media.

Arigbabu is the Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Ogun State.

He was at different times Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Students Affairs of the institution.

The Professor of Mathematics holds a PhD from the University of South Africa, Pretoria.

Odusile is a former President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), and ex-President of the Federation of African Journalists (FAJ).
