Eko Hot Blog reports that the Secretary to Ogun State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi has called on party stalwarts and followers in the All Progressives Congress, especially in Ijebu-North Local Government, to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and embrace peace that would further promote all-round development of the State.

Talabi who showed up at an annual fete hosted by Former Deputy Governor of the State, Prince Segun Adesegun, held at his townhome in Ago-Iwoye, Ijebu-North Local Government Area of the State.

He said he had come to felicitate the elder statesman on his annual celebration where he hosts like-minds and well-wishers across party lines.

The SSG said it was imperative for all party faithfuls and followers to work hand in glove, noting that the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has demonstrated genuine commitment to all-inclusiveness in governance.

Talabi called on the people to focus more on state growth and development which would further strengthen the cords of unity between the leaders and followers, saying that the people tend to benefit more from government when unity prevails.

On his part, Prince Segun Adesegun express his gratitude to Prince Dapo Abiodun for his continued partnership and support while thanking the SSG for gracing the occasion.

Adesegun opined that the APC family is more united now than before, assuring that the party would come out stronger than ever before.
