EKO HOT BLOG reports that tributes have continued to pour in from friends and members of the MOCOSA old students association 69/73 set as the family of Chief (Mrs.) Yemisi Ogunmefun (nee Odofin- Belo) has released final burial arrangements for the beloved mother, wife, colleague, and friend.
Until her demise, late Yemisi was a devout member of the MOCOSA 69/73 old students association and was unwaveringly active in the group’s activities despite residing in New Jersey, United States of America.

A direct, cherished daughter of High Chief Victor Oluwole Odofin Belo, oil and gas magnate of blessed memory”
According to a statement by her family, Yemisi will be committed to mother earth on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Givnish Funeral Home, North Cinnaminson, New Jersey.
There will also be a Service of songs organised by Mocosa 69/73 set in honour of Late Chief Mrs Victoria Abayomi Ogunmefun.
The service of songs will take place on Friday 8th, April 2022, Via Zoom
Time: 5.00 pm

Born February 24, 1958, Chief Mrs Victoria Abayomi Oluyemisi Odofin Ogunmefun passed away on March 29, 2022, after a brief illness.
She is survived by her children Tunji, Kayode and Funmilola
In a eulogy titled “The passing-on of an Amazon,” the MOCOSA 69/73, who hailed the praiseworthy qualities of late Yemisi, described her passage as one that has caused “deep mourning among members of the group.”
The eulogy reads in part; “MOCOSA 69/73 Set members were thrown into deep mourning yesterday, 29th March, 2022, with the shocking news of the passing-on of one of their iconic members, Chief Mrs Oluyemisi Abayomi Ogunmefun, nee Odofin-Belo, MC 2256, a corporate lawyer based in the United States.”
“Yemisi, as her mates fondly called her, has been bedecked with myriads of accolades by her classmates at Molusi, who still find it difficult to comprehend her sudden passage.”
“When news of her illness filtered into the Set, members declared a day of prayer and fasting for her, but alas, it was not to be, as Yemisi answered the Home-call of her Creator yesterday.”
“Just a few of those virtues that stood Yemisi out as an iconic member of the 69/73 Set was her penchant for spectacular caring, and loving attributes demonstrated to her classmates, from time to time.”
“She visited Nigeria frequently, all the way from New Jersey, USA, to attend MOCOSA 69/73 Set events and other MOCOSA programs as they come up.”
Dr Wole Kukoyi, Mocosa Global President, reacting to news of her demise, said late Yemisi will always be remembered for her unassuming personality and her eagerness to always lay on the tracks for the benefit and gratification of others.
Similarly, Sheikh Abayomi Hussein, Mocosa 69/73 Set described the late Yemisi as a great character who her mates and cronies will greatly miss.
