#OgunUnrest: “Cell Is Full”, Police Reject Robbery Suspect, Residents Panic

A Nigerian man  identified as Omotola has taken to Twitter to share photos of an alleged robber accused of terrorizing their estate in Ogun State, in spite of the lockdown order over the Coronavirus pandemic.

According to @iammotola, he was taking a walk down the estate for no particular reason then he saw a strange face looking wet and dirty.

After asking the teenager series of questions, he called the police to come pick him.

But the suspected robber returned and on grounds that the police “cell is full’.

He revealed that they had to dump the robber forcefully at the station.

This is very disheartening. Omotola enjoined all Nigerians not to hesitate in challenging any strange face seen in their localities as some of these guys could be spent as spies.

He told Nigerians to debunk the notion that hunger has led to the high spate of robbery as a suspect allegedly bought his weapon for 30k.

Besides they also rape young girls and housewives, could this be hunger too?

Omotola said they now burn 3 tyres every night to protect themselves.

And operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad are doing nothing.
