Okada Ban: Female Gokada Rider Receives Car Gift As Compensation

Sandra, a female Gokada rider has received a car gift from Kokun Foundation for the purpose of fending for her family following the Okada ban by the Lagos State Government.

Ekohotblog reports that the state government issued an order restricting motorcycles and tricycles from operating in six Local Government Areas.

This has sparked lots of reactions on social media, as Nigerians condemned the action saying the ban would affect them badly.

Sandra came out to complain about on she used her earnings from the venture to train herself and her younger ones in school, while taking care of their basic needs.

She noted  that she didn’t want to go into prostitution thereby devising an honest means of livelihood; but the ban would ultimately leave her frustrated and hopeless.
