Eko Hot Blog reports that it was an atmosphere of unionism at Onigbongbo LCDA as all members of staff set out to elect new Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Executives.
In a display of unity among all staff members, all the candidates emerged victorious without opposition on Thursday.
In his speech, the newly elected Chairman, Comrade Ademola Saka Oladosu, stated that he will be leveraging on the success of the previous administration to meet the aspirations of the entire staff.
“It is of inestimable importance to see this appointment as a rare privilege and a call to service,” he said.
“It is this in mind, that I and my team can spur the inherent spirit of selfless service to the entire staff of Onigbongbo LCDA. We’ve all come with a mindset of positivity, repositioning the union by leveraging on the previous administration’s success to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the entire staff.”
Comrade Abass Damilare who emerged as the Agric & Social Services Departmental Rep assured his colleagues of quality representation at the Executive Level.
