No one can escape growing older because it’s a natural process for everyone. It represents all of the changes that occur throughout one’s life.
What’s fascinating about ageing is that it doesn’t give you a choice; you can’t avoid it even if you’re the richest or healthiest person. But you can either speed up or slow down the process.
1. Frowning
Frowning is a facial expression in which the brows are drawn together and the forehead is wrinkled, as depicted in the image below. Most individuals use it to express grief, bewilderment, or disgust.
The technique makes your face look older than your age because so many muscles are stressed. On the other hand, most of those muscles relax when you smile.
2. Holding on to clothes you’ve owned for too long
While you don’t have to follow every fashion trend to keep your appearance current, changing out your worn-out clothes and accessories may have a major impact on how old people believe you to be.
3. Opting for a matte cosmetics style (women)
Although matte makeup is popular especially among those with oily skin, using just matte products may make you look older than your age.
4. Not getting enough sleep
While being able to pull all-night may appear to be a youthful attribute, not getting enough sleep actually causes you to age faster.
According to research, sleep deprivation can accelerate ageing at the cellular level, so there’s no better time than now to start aiming for eight hours of sleep every night.

5. Washing your face too frequently
Some people hate those oil feeling you get on your face in morning times, and even during the day. Because of this, they tend to wash their face very often.
Washing your face too often removes protective oils from your skin, making it appear dull and lifeless and of course older.
