Oliseh Hails Super Eagles’ Mental Strength In Cameroon Win
Like many others, former Nigeria international and coach, Sunday Oliseh, has nothing but praises for the Super Eagles after Saturday’s 3-2 win over Cameroon.
The victory over the reigning African champions at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 clash, was assured with two second-half goals by Odion Ighalo and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi.
After going ahead through Ighalo, it looked like Nigeria had fallen apart after Cameroon took the lead with two late first-half goals but Ighalo’s second and a match-winning goal from Iwobi helped win the five-goal thriller in Alexandria.
“Super Eagles players show strong mental strength to beat Cameroon and qualify for the quarter-finals. Now everything is possible! Delighted for the boys,” Oliseh wrote in a Twitter post.
