Eko hot blog reports that Nigerian singer and content creator, Oluwadolarz, has shed light on the reality of relationships within the comedy industry, revealing a stark truth behind the scenes.
In an interview with Echoo Room, Oluwadolarz expressed disappointment that despite reaching out to fellow skit makers, they didn’t rally behind his debut EP. He specifically called out Sydney Talker and Lord Lamba, both of whom had lived with him in the past, for not supporting his music venture.
“It’s been a journey of pure competition, not camaraderie,” lamented Oluwadolarz, highlighting the lack of solidarity among content creators. He revealed plans for a documentary to showcase his struggles and the absence of support within the industry.
Recalling his experiences, he shared, “I supported them when they reached out, but when it was my turn, no one showed up.” Despite his efforts, only a few, like Officer Woos, extended a helping hand. However, Oluwadolarz expressed gratitude for the support Officer Woos offered.
Addressing his relationship with Sydney Talker and Lord Lamba, Oluwadolarz acknowledged their past closeness but noted their lack of support when it mattered most. Despite this, he expressed happiness for Lord Lamba’s success in the industry.
Oluwadolarz’s revelations shed light on the complexities of friendship and competition within the content creation sphere, urging for more solidarity and support among colleagues.
