EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Court of Appeal, sitting in Akure, the Ondo State capital, will on Wednesday (today) deliver judgment on the case between the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rotimi Akeredolu, and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede, in the 2020 governorship election in the state.
It was learnt that the judgment by the Court of Appeal would be delivered virtually.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the latest development was confirmed by the spokesperson for PDP in Ondo State, Kennedy Peretei.

“The judgment will be delivered today as scheduled virtually, we have been informed but we are yet to get the code to connect, hopefully before the judgment commences, they will send it to us,” Peretei disclosed.
The state chairman of the APC, Ade Adetimehin, also confirmed the development.
However, security operatives were seen patrolling Akure, the state capital, to forestall the possible breakdown of law and order by political thugs.
