The Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ondo State governorship election, Olayide Adelami, delivered a commanding victory for his party at Unit 16, Igboroko 2, Ward 03, located at Ahmadiya Grammar School, Iselu, Owo.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the APC garnered an impressive 209 votes, leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) far behind with just 11 votes, showcasing the APC’s dominant position in the area.
Adelami, who cast his ballot at exactly 9:40 a.m., commended the peaceful and organized conduct of the election at his polling unit. Speaking after voting, he expressed optimism about his party’s prospects, attributing their success to effective grassroots mobilization and widespread acceptance of their campaign message across Ondo State’s 18 local government areas.
“Our vigorous campaigns and the overwhelming acceptance of our party have given us the confidence that we will come out victorious in this election,” Adelami stated.

The polling unit, which has a total of 850 registered voters, witnessed significant support for the APC. Adelami described the outcome as “a clear mandate from the people,” reflecting the party’s stronghold in the region.
