Eight Opponents Endorse Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa For Re-Election
Eight governorship candidates from various political parties have pledged their support for Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, ahead of the state’s upcoming gubernatorial election.
Speaking on Thursday in Akure at an interactive event organized by the APC National Campaign Council’s Special Engagement Committee, Aiyedatiwa announced the endorsements, expressing that it signaled strong backing from the people of Ondo State for the APC.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that he urged his supporters to maintain their momentum until victory is secured in Saturday’s election, emphasizing that the final hours before the vote are crucial for mobilizing further support.
“We have one agenda ahead of us: to secure victory on Saturday,” Aiyedatiwa said. “We have campaigned across the state and heard the concerns of the people. Let us return to our communities, continue the work, and avoid complacency.
“There is still much to be done, and we must be ready to see it through for ultimate success.”
The Governor highlighted the significance of the recent endorsements from his fellow candidates, urging his supporters to view it as a sign of public confidence in his leadership.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to delivering on his promises and advancing development in Ondo State if re-elected.
