Ondo Court Sentences Killers Of Afenifere leader, Fasoranti Daughter To Death

The Ondo State High Court, Akure, on Friday, sentenced three persons to death for killing Mrs Funke Olakunrin, the daughter of the Afenifere leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Ondo State High Court, Akure, on Friday, sentenced three persons to death for killing Mrs Funke Olakunrin, the daughter of the Afenifere leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti.
The deceased was killed along Benin-Ore-Shagamu Expressway in the Ore Odigbo in June 2019, on her way to Lagos State.
Three people have been sentenced to death by hanging for the murder of Olufunke Olakuri, the daughter of Afenifere Leader Pa Reuben Fasoranti.
They were sentenced by the Akure-based Ondo State High Court.
The fourth suspect, Auwàla Abubakar, the spokesman for Miyetti Allah, was discharged and acquitted by the presiding judge, Justice William Olamide.
Olufunke was killed by gunmen in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area, Ondo State, in June 2019.

She was buried only a few weeks after her heinous assassination.
Six months after her death, her alleged killers were apprehended and charged.
