Ondo Governorship Race: APC to Begin Sale of Forms on April 3
Eko Hot Blog reports that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that it will commence the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms for interested aspirants in the Ondo State governorship primary election from April 3 to April 10.

This decision was disclosed in a statement posted on the party’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle by the National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu.
According to Argungu, the state governorship primary election will be held on April 25, while the primary election appeal to address complaints and contestations will take place on April 26.
“In compliance with the relevant sections of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Electoral Act 2022, the APC hereby makes public its timetable and schedule of activities leading to the 16th November, 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo State as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),” the statement partly read.
The national organizing secretary further stated that the position taken by the party is in compliance with the Electoral Act 2022, as amended, and relevant sections of the Constitution.
Meanwhile, the ruling party has pegged the Expression of Interest form at N10 million, while the Nomination form goes for N40 million. However, female aspirants and persons with disabilities are given a concession, requiring them to only procure the Expression of Interest form, while the Nomination form is free for them.
