Ondo Govt Writes Ex-Deputy Gov, Asks Him To Return Govt Vehicles

  • Ondo State Government under the administration of Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, has written a letter to the former deputy of the state, Hon. Agboola Ajayi, asking him to return the government owned vehicles in his possession.
  • Ajayi whose tenure ended on the 23rd February, 2021, was Akeredolu’s deputy during his first term tenure.

Ondo State Government under the administration of Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, has written a letter to the former deputy of the state, Hon. Agboola Ajayi, asking him to return the government owned vehicles in his possession.

Ajayi whose tenure ended on the 23rd February, 2021, was Akeredolu’s deputy during his first term tenure.

This information was obtained through a letter from the office of the state head of service.

The letter which dated 16th February, 2021 was addressed to the former deputy governor, enjoining him to submit to the General Administration Department of the Governor’s office, all government properties in his possession including vehicles and other movable assets on it before 23rd February, 2021.

However, after few weeks and the former deputy governor was reported to have not returned the government properties in question, another letter was said to have written to that effect which served as a reminder and was said to have been tittled “Re: Submission of All Government Properties”.

The new letter which indicated that Ajayi was still in possession of one Land Cruiser SUV and two new Toyota Hilux vehicles.
