The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has started collation of results for the Ondo State governorship election, with the All Progressives Congress (APC) leading so far.
The collation started around 12:30am with the declaration of results from Ifedore Local Government Area followed by Ondo East.
According to the results announced by the collation officer of Ifedore LGA, Prof Abel Ifedore, the APC scored 14,157 votes, with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) getting 5,897 votes.
For Ondo East local government, APC got 8,163 while PDP got 2,843. The Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) garnered 219, with the Labour Party (LP) getting just 31.
