All Progressives Congress Screening Committee for Ondo State Governorship Primary Election on Friday cleared eleven out of twelve aspirants to contest for the sole ticket.
The committee has been saddled with the responsibility of fine-tuning the process all along for smooth and effective attainment of its goals.
Chairman of the Committee, Alhaji Tijjani Tumsa, made this public while presenting the committee’s report to the National Secretary of the APC Caretaker/ Extra Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee, Senator John Ude, at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, on Friday.
Tumsa, however, did not give the name of the disqualified aspirant nor did he state the reason behind the disqualification.
Ekohotblog had earlier reported that eleven Governorship aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday had sent an official letter to the party’s Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee (CEONCPC) kicking against the indirect mode of the primary election on July 20, while only Governor Rotimi Akeredolu refused to sign the letter.
