Ondo Poll: APC Expels Lawmaker Who Moved Against Deputy Gov’s Impeachment

A lawmaker, Mr Success Torukerijoh of the All Progressives Congress in Ese Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State has reportedly been expelled.

This is coming five days after nine members of the Ondo house refused to sign the impeachment letter of the Deputy Governor, Hon. Agoola Ajayi.

Torukerijoh is a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ese Odo state Constituency, is one of the nine lawmakers opposing the impeachment of the state deputy governor, Mr Agboola Ajayi.

His suspension came after a meeting organized by the leaders of the party in the local government on Sunday, following his involvement in anti-party activities.

Ekohotblog recalls that nine members in Ondo state House of Assembly on Wednesday said they are not involved in the impeachment process of the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon. Agoola Ajayi.
