A member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Ilaje Constituency II, Favour Tomomewo, survived a car accident while travelling to participate in the governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday.
Ekohotblog learned the incident happened on her way to Akure, the state capital.
It was recalled that she had travelled to her ward to partake in the exercise before realizing the venue had been changed to Akure.

She was said to have left her Mahin ward in Ilaje Local Government Area of the state before the accident occurred around 7 am.
The lawmaker and three of her aides involved in the accident sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
“We thank God that no life was lost, but she and the other aides who were involved in the accident suffered injuries.
“We had to rush them to a hospital for medical treatment because one of them was already bleeding,” an aide to the lawmaker said.
She is one of three members of the Ondo State House of Assembly suspended from the parliament for refusing to support the impeachment of the deputy governor, Mr. Agboola Ajayi.
