One internally displaced person has been confirmed dead while many persons sustained various degree of injuries during a fire outbreak at a camp for displaced persons in Muna garage, Borno State.

According to National Emergency Management Agency, the fire was ignited during the weekend from one of the kitchens in the emergency shelters erected in the camp.
NEMA said that dozens of families in the camps were displaced during the fire outbreak as about 1613 households were affected.
The incident, it was gathered, had further compounded the plight of the IDPs.
