One Feared Dead As Two-Storey Building Collapses In Lagos

  • One person has been feared dead as a two-storey building collapsed in Lagos State.

 

EKOHOTBLOG reports that one person has been confirmed dead while three persons have been trapped in a collapsed building in Lagos State.

 

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Monday night at No. 97, Lagos Road in the Haruna area of Ikorodu.

 

Confirming the incident on Tuesday, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), disclosed that the building collapsed around 10pm on Monday, adding that two persons, a male and a female, were injured.

The agency further disclosed that the injured persons are currently at the Ikorodu General Hospital receiving treatment.

It added that a rescue operation was ongoing as of the time of filing this report.
