One Good Turn Deserves Another — Cubana Chief Priest On Sanwo-Olu

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nigerian celebrity barman, Pascal Chibuike, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has declared his support for the re-election of Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu as the governor of Lagos State.

In a post on his Instagram page, he stated that the Governor deserved another term in office, adding that his tribe, the Igbo, felt safe under Sanwo-Olu’s leadership.

Cubana Chief Priest listed several reasons for his support for the Governor, including his efforts in ensuring the safety of Nigerians during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He also noted that the Governor had a lot of projects in the pipeline and needed another term to complete them. He urged Lagosians to vote for Sanwo-Olu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming elections to ensure the Governor had the chance to complete his projects and provide finishing touches to his plans for the state.

Sanwo-Olu’s administration has received several criticisms, especially from youths in the state, who have vowed not to vote for him in the coming elections. They have demanded that the Governor reveals who gave the orders for the shooting of peaceful EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll-Gate on the 20th of October 2020, which resulted in many casualties. Despite the backlash, Cubana Chief Priest has thrown his weight behind the Governor, urging his followers to do the same.
