A police source told Punch Metro that the incident occurred when the doctor lost control of his vehicle while driving into the hospital premises.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the car crashed into the hospital’s fence and collided with another vehicle, resulting in one fatality and two injuries.
The source stated, “The accident took place at the Mowe Health Centre.

The doctor, who regularly parked at the hospital despite not being a staff member, lost control of his vehicle on this occasion. He crashed into the hospital’s fence, causing the death of one person and injuring two others.”
Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident in a phone call on Thursday.
She noted that the deceased, a three-year-old named Ejikey Israel, was pronounced dead at the scene. The body has been transferred to Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital for an autopsy.
“The vehicle involved was a Toyota Highlander Jeep with registration number APP 422 GJ,” Odutola said.
“The driver lost control of the vehicle while attempting to enter the health centre, hitting the hospital wall and injuring two people. The vehicle has been impounded, and the injured individuals are receiving medical treatment. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.”
