Eko Hot Blog reports that monarchs in Epe Division of Lagos State, including the Oniladaba of Ladaba, Oba Sikiru Nereni, have presented a united front in their plea to the federal government for essential infrastructure, including improved roads and electricity, in their communities.
Ladaba, nestled within the Epe region, has long grappled with inadequate basic amenities, posing challenges to the well-being and development of its residents.
Oba Nereni, speaking on behalf of the community, emphasized the critical need for governmental intervention to address these pressing issues.
“Access to basic amenities such as good roads and reliable electricity is fundamental to the progress of our community,” expressed the Oniladaba.
“We implore the federal government to prioritize the infrastructure needs of Ladaba and ensure the provision of essential services to our people.”
The call for better roads and electricity infrastructure is rooted in the desire to enhance the quality of life for Ladaba’s residents and stimulate economic growth within the community.
Improved connectivity and access to electricity are crucial for fostering socio-economic development and attracting investment opportunities.
With their plea, the Oniladaba of Ladaba and fellow Epe monarchs underscore the importance of government-indigenous collaboration in addressing the infrastructure deficit and advancing the socio-economic prosperity of their communities.
