EKO HOT BLOG gathered that highly rated Oba Wahab Ayinde Balogun and Onisheri of Isheri the paramount ruler of Isheri Olofin died in the early hours of Tuesday at age 94.
The 94-year-old first-class Oba and paramount ruler of Isheri Olofin was once the Chairman Alimosho Council of Obas and reigned for 37 years on the throne of his forefathers.
Isheri Olofin is Alimosho, situated near Cardoso and west of Idimu.

Isheri Olofin has existed for over 600 years with two ruling houses initially producing Bales and Obas, which later increased to four, made of Oyekanmi, Olanwa, Abisua and Olaigbo.
During his 37 years reign, Isheri Olofin witnessed unprecedented socio-political-economic advancement
Oba Balogun discharged his duty as an overseer over his subjects, creditably despite challenges encountered.
In June 2019, he celebrated his 35 years on the throne, where journalists interviewed him if he ever had it in mind to become a king; Oba Balogun said that it never crossed his mind, though his parents were telling him when he was young that he had an omen to be great.
However, there was a declaration in 1983, but his coronation did not take place until 1984
Many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren survived him.
