The marriage will be the Ooni’s 6th marriage in less than two months.
In September, the monarch tied the knot with Mariam Anako, who is identified as an oil and gas executive.
His marriage to Anako came a few weeks after he reportedly tied the knot with Elizabeth Akinmuda and Tobi Philips.
On October 14, 2022, the Ooni reportedly married Ashley Afolashade Adegoke, an Ile-Ife Princess, as his fourth wife. And then, on October 20, 2022, he married yet another Ile-Ife Princess and founder of African Fashion Week, Ronke Ademiluyi, as the fifth wife.
Oba Ogunwusi has had three failed marriages in the past. His most recent failed marriage was with Naomi Silekunola, an evangelist, who announced their divorce in December 2021.
The monarch’s next queen, Temitope, studied Linguistics and had a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos.
She worked in the private sector as an administrative executive and public relations officer.
Temitope was the personal assistant to Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya, the secretary to the Lagos state government, from 2009 until 2011.
She currently leads the poverty alleviation team managed by the Ooni.
