Ooni Of Ife Welcomes Seventh Wife In Regal Style At Ile Odua Palace

Ooni of Ife has celebrated the arrival of his Seventh Wife with a traditional wedding ceremony.

The event was held at Ile Odua Palace, Ile-Ife and saw the new Queen being welcomed into the palace by the other queens.

The wedding thanksgiving service and reception for Seventh Wife is set to take place on May 20th, 2023.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has celebrated his seventh wife’s arrival, Olori Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda, in a traditional wedding ceremony held on Friday night, May 19th at Ile Odua Palace, Ile-Ife.
The new Queen was seen dancing and being ushered into the palace by women of the palace. Additionally, the video showed the Ooni welcoming his other queens as they received the new Queen into the palace.

The palace had earlier sent out invitations to relatives and dignitaries for the wedding thanksgiving service and reception of the new Queen scheduled for Saturday, 20th of May, 2023. This event will be preceded by the traditional entry of the Queen into the Ife Oodua Palace of Ile-Ife.
