Eko Hot Blog reports that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has taken a firm stance against the recent invasion of the Oyo State Government Secretariat by Yoruba Nation agitators, dismissing them as mere attention-seekers who do not represent the interests of the Yoruba ethnic group.

Speaking during a courtesy visit by the Yoruba Council Worldwide, the monarch urged Nigerians to ignore the agitators and instead focus their attention on President Bola Tinubu’s administration, which he commended for its efforts to fix the country’s economic challenges.
Expressing his unwavering support for the president, the Ooni stated, “Under President Bola Tinubu, he is doing very well, he is doing exceptionally well, by trying to fix the economy. We should give him the benefit of doubt and also engage people, very important we should be engaging people to talk to others about the success recorded by the government in power.”
