One of the youths, Fatai Adegboyega, who discussed with our reporter yesterday, 3 May 2020, said they were pleading for the opening of the field as it was the only link that always brings unity to the boys.
He added that if the field is opened it will ease the tension of thuggery and robbery within the nooks and crannies of the Lagos Island.
“Most of us have missed our friends from other parts of Lagos Island as our meeting point has been shut down,” he added.
One of the management whose name was not mentioned for the sake of anonymity said the field could not be opened now as the state government has not given the order for social gathering.
“Clubs in Europe planning to go back to training are still on the bid for the government’s approval,” he said.
