EKOHOTBLOG reports that the residents of Ora Community can finally look forward to a stable and reliable power supply as a brand new 500kVA transformer has arrived to replace the previously installed 300kVA unit.
This upgrade, which includes all necessary accessories for immediate installation and energizing, marks a significant milestone in the community’s quest for improved electricity supply.
EDITOR’S PICKS
This development follows a prolonged period of blackout that had plagued the community for over a year. Initially, a 300kVA transformer was facilitated by a benevolent community member from the Lagos State Government.
However, issues with the energizing process led to delays and an interim contractor’s request for payment, which stirred concerns among residents.
Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester (Sketel) Representative of Epe Constituency II for Lagos state house of assembly has played a pivotal role in resolving this issue, demonstrating his commitment to the community’s welfare.
His intervention has ensured the arrival of the new transformer, which is expected to enhance power reliability and address the previous electricity supply challenges faced by Ora Community.
The community eagerly anticipates the installation of the new transformer and the restoration of consistent power supply.
Updates on the installation process and the official operational status of the new transformer will be provided as soon as they are available.
