Ore Industrial Park Can Employ 120,000 Workers – CEO

The Chief Executive Officer of Ore Industrial Park, Femi Akinkuebi, has disclosed that the park which is made up of different sections, including factories, can employ about 120,000 youths.

Akinkuebi added that the project is a partnership effort between the firm and the state government to expand industrialization in the state productively and to provide employment opportunities.

The park which is located in the Odigbo Local Government Area, Ore, in Ondo state, was launched recently by President Mohammadu Buhari.

Speaking on the new development Akinkuebi, said; “targeting to employ not less than 120,000-strong workforce within the next 12 years.”

“Apart from providing employment, the park is to empower our people because there is one we are building now called production hub whereby you just need to bring your equipment. We have space for production in order to encourage our local people.

“One of the things we are considering in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility is to give direct employment to the people of Odigbo Local Government Area because we don’t believe in giving any money to individuals or groups. What we are looking at is to empower them.
