Coach and Technical Director of Kwara Falcons Basketball Club of Ilorin, Steve Onishola, has passed away.
Onishola’s death came just 24 hours after his younger sister, Folake Aremu, a popular Nollywood actress named Orisabunmi, died at age 60.
He is believed to have died at the age of 71 on Thursday, Jan 7, in Illorin, in the aftermath of a short illness, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
The State Chairman of the association, Dr. Joseph Adeyemo, confirmed his death in Ilorin on Thursday.
Onishola who passed away was Falcons’ manager on various occasions before he became technical director of the club.

Adeyemo said: “This unfortunate incident saddens us greatly.. In fact, we can’t come up with the right word for this moment.
“Coach Onishola was the basketball icon in Kwara., He was one of Nigeria’s very best coaches.
“The whole basketball family expresses their deepest sympathies to the family of the deceased and those close to them.”
