Orisabunmi’s Family Open Up On Cause Of Actress, Siblings Death

The Family of popular Nigerian actress, Folake Aremu alias Orisabunmi are mourning the death of the actress, her brother and sister all of whom died within a three-day interval.

On Wednesday, The family confirmed the unfortunate news of the death of Nollywood actress.  On Thursday, a report of her brother’s death, Steve Onisola, also surfaced in local news; three days later, Janet Ademola, Orisabunmi’s younger sister, and last child in the family is also deceased.

BBC News Yoruba in an interview with late Orisabunmi sister’s close associate, Prophet Obaloluwa Hephzibah revealed that, he lived with Madam Janet (Orisabunmi sister) before she died.

“She died on Saturday afternoon and she is Orisabunmi sister and the last born of their parents”, he said.

When the BBC questioned Hephzibah if the reports Bukola Janet dying from Covid-19 was true, he said it was a false news.

”Its not Corona. we can call that a ‘shock” , she actually was having Hypertension before the news of her siblings death.” He said.

Before the death of Steve Onisola, 71 he was a Technical Director of Kwara Falcons Basketball Club, Ilorin. However, reports indicate that Steve died after a brief illness.

Some hours before Bukola Janet’s died, she was mourning Orisabunmi, and in an interview with Punch Newspaper, She described her deceased sister as a benevolent sister and a mother with a rare heart of love,  EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.

She said, “The death of my elder sister, Mrs Folake Aremu, is very painful because of what she stands for in our lives as family members.

“She was very friendly and caring; she never left her siblings alone. We are pained because she stands as a good mother for all of us.”

“As the last child of the family, she took very good care of me. We were very close and used to each other. She gave her best to make sure I am always okay.”

One of the children of Late Orisabunmi, Yetunde Oyesola told Punch Newspaper that, their late mother was actually not sick.

She said; “Her blood pressure was perfect; she was in a good state of health. If she was sick, it wont be a shock to us on hearing of her death.

“But it was shocking because she she was hale and hearty. We haven’t hospitalised her. She was perfectly alright but its a pity that we lost her at this time.”
