Oshiomhole Rejects Christmas Gift From Gov. Obaseki

There seems not to be a closer end to the fued between the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC, Adams Oshiomhole and the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, as the National Chairman rejected the Christmas gift from the governor.

It was gathered that Oshiomhole’s mother, Hajia Oshiomhole on Christmas day rejected gift of four cows and 10 bags of rice from the state government on behalf of her son but it was not immediately clear why the gifts were taken to Oshiomhole’s mother’s house instead of his son’s house, which is about 700 metres apart.

The Governor however, claimed that the APC remained united and strong in the state adding that, those working to destabilize the party would soon be shown the way out.

Obaseki said “APC is one party, those that say they are in EPM are not APC, including their National Chairman, who we have suspended in Edo State. Those mistakenly elected into Edo State House of Assembly, who are members of EPM have been thrown out.

Oshiomhole how’ve, has declined to comment on the Christmas gift rejected by his mother.
