- The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, on Friday, announced the sighting of the moon, showing the commencement of Ramadan on Saturday.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has sent a strong message to all Muslim faithful as they commence the annual Ramadan fasting.
Osinbajo took to his verified Facebook page to felicitate Muslims; “As another new moon ushers in the blessed month of Ramadan, I send my warmest greetings to all Muslims in our country.
