EKO HOT BLOG reports that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for this Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has said the state government refused to grant him permission to hold his mega rally at the Osogbo City Stadium and Freedom Park in Osogbo, the state capital.
Daily Trust quoted Adeleke as saying that he personally pleaded with Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to allow him to use the Osogbo City Stadium or Freedom Park for his mega rally but the permission was not granted.
“For our mega rally, we are expecting PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and some governors. I won’t tell you the names of the governors that are coming.
“The PDP national campaign committee for the Osun election is showing commitment to his campaign,” Adeleke said.
