“I am impressed with road networks which have made travel experience astonishing” – Oba Munirudeen.
His Royal Majesty, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa I, Timi of Ede Land, Osun State Nigeria, has applauded the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration for the developmental strides going on in Epe.
The monarch was astonished by the huge infrastructural investments sited in the Division, courtesy of the Government of His Excellency.
Timi of Ede land was speaking in an interview with Eko Hot Blog on the sidelines of his courtesy visit to the Premier Club in the Division, Epe Club.
“I am impressed with road networks which have made travel experience astonishing. The most important thing is for the Government to give the people dividends of democracy, to give us a better life, to make us feel that we have put the right person in the right place. When you travel abroad, you’ll see the way people are enjoying, we want the Government to imbibe that. And we want to thank God some of them are doing this and a typical example is what we have seen today and the construction of the Eleko-Epe road still ongoing,” His Royal Majesty stated.
The Kabiyesi appreciated the Alayandelu of Odo-Ayandelu Kingdom, Oba Builder Aderibigbe Asumo, High Chief Muniru Badru, the Seriki Odibo of Epe Kingdom and Chief Elewuro, for facilitating his visit, stating that he was en route Lekki for an event.
“Epe to Ijebu-Ode is just a stone’s throw as a result of the construction going on. We want to thank the Government for deeming it fit to link Epe to Ijebu-Ode, otherwise, it would have been a tough journey,” he stated.
He admonished indigenes of Epe irrespective of their background to take a cue from the cultural diversity in Nigeria and work towards being a single entity in delivering the Epe of their dreams.
“Nigeria consists of so many tribes and we should be able to use that diversity as a strength or progress. People from different backgrounds, Oyo, Lekki, Iseyin Epe are here and they are now using that as a concerted effort to grow Epe Division. Nigerians should embrace that also, we should use our cultural diversity to embrace unit and develop Nigeria and make it a viable place for Nigerians,” Kabiesi stated.
