Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, who is one of the top leading aspirants under PDP, Dele Adeleke and Fatai Akinbade, will no longer take part in the primary poll for the forthcoming July 16 governorship election in the State.
According to Adeleke, he took the decision to work for PDP leadership to win the gubernatorial poll in the state.
“PDP is my party and I am fully ready to work for the party to win the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state,” he said.
As for Akinbade, he claimed he was doing it to respect the decision of the party elders who have named Prince Dotun Babayemi as the preferred aspirant of the party.
