The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senators’ Caucus in Osun State has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as its preferred candidate for the 2027 presidential election.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the endorsement, announced on Tuesday, was contained in a joint statement signed by Senator Kamarudeen Oyewumi (Osun West), Senator Olubiyi Ajagunla (Osun Central), and Senator Francis Fadahunsi (Osun East).

The lawmakers declared their full support for President Tinubu’s leadership, praising his achievements and expressing confidence in his administration’s ability to deliver more reforms.

The decision followed a closed-door meeting where the three senators unanimously resolved to back Tinubu for a second term, citing his economic policies, infrastructural development, and improved national security as major reasons for their endorsement.

“President Tinubu has demonstrated visionary leadership,” the statement read. “His policies have led to visible progress in security, infrastructure and, most recently, a reduction in food prices—proving his commitment to improving Nigerians’ lives.”

The senators described their support as a reflection of unity and collective trust in the President’s governance.

“This endorsement is not just symbolic—it reflects our deep confidence in President Tinubu’s ability to deliver on the promise of democracy. The Osun PDP Senators’ Caucus is united and unwavering in its support. There is no internal dissent; we stand as one.”
